[13:24] <jezza_mcwaffle> I ask because I'd like to write up some feedback on the latest dev blog but its hard without either guessing the numbers or getting alot of it wrong, if the duality numbers were quite accurate then its a bit easier.
[13:38] <jezza_mcwaffle> For example I was wondering what capital cap boosters would be like, so I took current heavy cap boosters and multiplied it by a factor of 10. That would equate to the largest boosters being 8000 each, and you could fit 6 of them per module, so thats a max of 48000 GJ per booster, on a Lif with its bonuses that would be 72,000 which would be close to its 84,000 base cap (from duality numbers with skills) and therefore probarbly too powerful, dependant on the cycle time. If you scaled it down to a factor of 6 then it would be a total of 43000, around half the cap which can be either be good or bad dependant on their fitting and reload time. If you could only realistically fit one because of PG and had a reload time of say 2 minutes I would argue it would be underpowered.
[15:14] <jezza_mcwaffle> I'm also concerned about the viability of the Gallente FAX vs the Minmitar given the massive superiority in local tank that shield has, amplified with deadspace invulns compared to deadspance eanm's.
[15:15] <jezza_mcwaffle> Unless you plan to rebalance armour vs shield tanking in relation to capital modules, in which case please don't let shield have all the advantages (quickest cycle time, rep lands at start of cycle etc)
